Christiana Care offers comprehensive physical rehabilitation services in a variety of settings for inpatients and outpatients of all ages. Orthopaedic rehabilitation and therapy is designed to help patients realize their maximum potential and move effectively and efficiently along the continuum of care.

Orthopaedic rehabilitation services

Christiana Hospital offers a full range of physical rehabilitation services for inpatients, including newborns and pediatric patients.

Physical rehabilitation for acute-care patients

Rehabilitation services are offered at Wilmington Hospital to acute-care patients to enhance their recovery efforts at the bedside, as well as in our therapy gym. The Center for Rehabilitation offers inpatient physical rehabilitation programs featuring the latest in barrier-free and functional-rehabilitation technologies.

Outpatient physical rehabilitation

Outpatient services and programs are offered at Wilmington Hospital and through a network of physical, occupational and speech-language rehabilitation services, while Christiana Care's Visiting Nurse Association provides in-home services.
