Daniel A. Leung, M.D.

Dr. Leung came from Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Va., where he was an associate professor and director of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He joined the University of Virginia Health System in 2000 as an assistant professor of interventional radiology.

He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Zurich, Switzerland.

His radiology residency was at University Hospital Zurich, where he was chief resident in 1998. He was an interventional radiology fellow at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1999–2000.

He has coauthored 50 peer-reviewed papers and 11 book chapters, and invited review articles and 92 abstracts and conference proceedings.

Dr. Leung is a manuscript reviewer for European Radiology, Radiology and the Journal of Vascular Interventional Radiology.
