About Christiana Care
Christiana Care’s drive to care for our neighbors takes many forms, such as community-benefit activities our organization is involved with every day.
Community-building initiatives are an important part of our focus. They include programs that address underlying causes of health problems in order to improve health status and quality of life. They focus of the root causes of health problems, such as poverty, homelessness and environmental issues.
Efforts to protect the health and safety of our community include the many improvements Christiana Care continues to make to reduce the environmental footprint of our operations.
Our 2010 Environmental Stewardship Annual Report shares several projects and initiatives at Christiana Care focused on environmental issues. If you have any questions about this report or any aspect of our community-building activities, please contact Jay Moorhead at 302-327-3394.
